General Conditions
Reservations and Expenses–
A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking and the balance is paid 45 days before the excursion. Expenses include transportation, accommodations, meals on safari and entrance fees to National Parks and Reserves. Cancellation Policy * – A refund of monies paid, less 25%, will be issued if cancellation occurs between 35 and 27 day days prior to the start of the excursion, 50% loss between 26-8 days prior to excursion, and 100% loss of refund within 7 days notice or less. * Some trip policies may vary but will be noted right on the trip itself. Alterations to Tours Pinnacle Alpine Tours & Treks reserves the right to alter arrangements and/or to cancel the operation of a scheduled tour, should conditions necessitate. It also reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of a tour at any time during the tour; should this be necessary, an equitable amount will be refunded. Price is based on tariffs and other prevailing costs at the time of printing. |
Liability
Pinnacle Alpine Tours & Treks and its agents act only as agents of the passengers in all matters relating to hotel/lodge accommodations, tours, transport, etc. and shall not be liable for injury, delays, loss or damage in any manner. Note All expeditions involve an element of personal risk and trips can be of a hazardous nature. Expedition members must accept this risk. We are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, expense, delay or inconveniences caused to you or your baggage as a result of direct or indirect matters of weather or nature, which is out of our control. All participants are advised to take out insurance policies to cover the cost of personal accidents and medical expenses. |
Fitness Requirements
Participants climbing Kenyan mountains should be in good physical condition to partake in treks outlined on organized trips on this website. It is recommended that you start training at least 1-2 months before your trip is scheduled to take place. Technical Climbing on Mt. Kenya
Technical climbing of Mt. Kenya’s two peaks, Batian (5199m) and Nelion (5188m) is an adventure in itself. Because of Mt.
