This shorter trip offers those who have limited time wonderful opportunities to view Kenya’s wildlife. Both Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru boast abundant populations of bird species. Naivasha, a fresh-water lake, is only a 2-hour drive from Nairobi, allowing for lots of time for wildlife viewing.
Lake Nakuru supports a wide variety of birds and a vast quantity of flamingos. Along the shoreline you can spot warthogs, baboons as well as the re-introduced White and Black rhino. You may also spot giraffes, waterbuck and possibly lions and leopards.

4-Day Sweetwaters and Nakuru Game Safari*

This wildlife safari takes you to two properties - Ol Pejeta Conservancy (Sweet Waters) is a non-profit wildlife conservancy that is home to the largest Black rhino population in East Africa, the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary as well as housing the two remaining northern White rhinos. Accommodations are situated around a watering hole, where animal sightings are regular.

4-Day Masai Mara Camping Safari*

Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the most popular reserves in the whole of Africa. As the northern extension of Tanzania’s Serengeti and spanning an area of over 1510 km2, this reserve offers an incredible opportunity to view wildlife. The “Great Migration" is the well-documented, spectacular Wildebeest migration that is a “must see.” Interspersed amongst the Wildebeest are companion Zebra and Impala, Thompson’s Gazelle, topi and giraffe, which lumber throughout the open savannah. Here you’ll also find the Big Cats – Lions, cheetahs and leopards – and other animals such as hyenas and Nile Crocodiles, lurking along the water’s edge. Easily spotted from safari vehicles are eagles, vultures and storks.

DAYS 2 and 3: Safari participants head out to morning and late afternoon game viewing in the Reserve. A visit to a Masai Village can be arrange for an additional fee.

5-Day Mt Kenya and Samburu Game Safari*

LThis trip takes you to Mt Kenya, Africa's second highest peak and then to Samburu, in search of wildlife specific to this area. Kenya’s Rift Valley escarpment offers some of the best breath taking views the country has to offer. Samburu is part of a lava plain. The region is home to the uncommon Grevy Zebra, Gerenuk antelope (standing on hind legs to feed,) Somali ostriches, and the Oryx. Elephants, giraffes, and crocodiles are guaranteed sightings. Leopard sighting is also a special feature here. For the avid birder, this is an excellent spot to see numerous varieties of birds, including a variety of weaverbirds and the Martial Eagle.
